Born in Leipzig in 1926, deportation to Poland in 1938, forced labor in the Tarnów ghetto, deportation to Auschwitz-Birkenau in 1943, forced labor in the Buna/Monowitz concentration camp, death march in Jan. 1945, liberation by the French army, emigration to the United States, now lives near New York.
